Have enjoyed living in the Colorado Rockies, the Olympic Rainforest, the bush of Alaska & the Tongass Rainforest in southeast Alaska. I'm now back in Fairbanks, Alaska, where sculptors work in ice, women, as well as me, run dog teams 1000 miles to the top of the world through thick forests, over frozen rivers and across snow covered tundra. And, there's 23 hours of daylight for summer fun.
Have raised foster children, an adopted child and birth children and enjoyed raising pet rats, rabbits and sled dogs!
Have worked in education, prevention and in mental health treatment.
All my blood pressure and cholesterol levels are good and I'm medication free - so far! :-)
It's a good day.

School Story:

High school was difficult. Social anxiety high. Self esteem low. I loved being in the talent show with our small group, though I was scared to death. I loved driving around in my Renault convertible, water balloon showers and all. I was terrified giving those current event reports. Sweet that everyone tried to encourage me. I've been a trainer for teachers and mental health professionals and trained moderate sized groups thoughout the state and a class at OU, since those terrifying current event reports!
I liked all my classmates and care about each one of you. I was surprised to read people's notes in my yearbook, that I was a good listener and had wise advise. Today, I'm a mental health therapist. Looks like my classmates saw something in me I didn't see in myself. Glad we're staying connected.

I'm sorry to see classmates pass so young, though there are times when the passing is a gift. Hope all of you are staying safe and able to wait things out. We have such dynamic history together, our generation. Thank you to the Committee for keeping this small band of us connected.

Hello Georgia, Hope you and those you love are all well and happy. It's fun to read classmates' profiles & get up to date. Look forward to seeing your news. I used to live in Grandby, CO. Beautiful area. I'll be in Golden in Oct. for a professional training. Hope some autumn colors will be left.

Oh my. Sorry to hear about Bill's passing. Very kind hearted, joyful teen,as I remember. Glad he got to attend the 50th and be with classmates. As classmates, we hold our history of an important, often turning point time in our lives. The picture you posted is exactly how I remember Bill, the kind eyes and the smile.

Thank you to the Reunion Committee for making arrangements for all the gatherings and giving us a Save the Date for 2018. My anticipated retirement date is 4/2019, the spring after my 70th B-Day, Nov. 2018.

Belatedly, I'm sorry to hear of Patsy's passing. I'm happy she has such inspiring comments from classmates and had a beautiful memorial service. It's sad to loose such a special person but, perhaps, she is now freed of pain and suffering.

Thank you for posting. Though not a close friend, Jean had an important role in my high school experience. I was insecure and Jean always greeted me. She really always was smiling, and she was so authentic. It is sad to loose such a person so young. I'm sorry for her family and close friends. Prayers go out to all.
