Patsy Hoge (Watters) VIEW PROFILE

Patsy Hoge Watters was born August 17, 1948, in Norman, OK, to Stewart and Patricia Hoge. She passed away on February 27 in Edmond, OK. Patsy was a lady we would all strive to follow. She always put others and their needs before her own, especially her family. She was a determined lady. If Patsy put her mind to it, you knew it would be accomplished. She was a very proud supporter of our military as she participated in several organizations such as the Wounded Warrior Project. Nothing made her more proud, however, than her family, especially her boys. She and her husband, Bob, had been married for more than 32 great years. Patsy had worked at Chesapeake Energy since it began, where she served as Senior Division Order Analyst. Patsy is survived by her husband, Bob; sons, David Rainwater and Jarret Watters; as well as her two grandchildren, Carly and Jake; and their mother, Amy. She will also be missed by her mother, Pat Brown; brother, Stewart Hoge and wife Debbie; and her nieces and nephew, Jennifer, Shelby, and Cortland. Memorial donations may be made in Patsy's name to the Wounded Warrior Project.

The family of Patsy Watters created a Life Tributes page to make it easy for all of you to share your memories:

So sorry to hear about Patsy. She was always so kind and friendly in high school.

This was a shock because I just talked to her last year on a business matter.

My deepest sympathy to her family.

Very sad to see Patsy passed away. She was too young to leave this earth. She was special.  My prayers are with her and her family.

Patsy's service today was filled with family, friends and coworkers. She clearly was loved, cherished and very well-respected. The service was a lovely and a fitting tribute to her vibrant, happy and kind personality. (Patsy had been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer 14 months ago.) I'm sure we will all remember and miss her warm and beautiful smile.

Belatedly, I'm sorry to hear of Patsy's passing. I'm happy she has such inspiring comments from classmates and had a beautiful memorial service. It's sad to loose such a special person but, perhaps, she is now freed of pain and suffering.

Patsy was always someone I admired in high school. She was kind and friendly. I always thought Patsy was one of the prettiest girls at Norman High. She was so bright and had done well in school and her chosen career.  She had worked her way into an upperlevel position with one of the largest and most successful Oil and Gas concerns in Oklahoma bringing her much respect within the industry. I wish I had known her better as I knew she was a very nice person with a wonderful joy about her!

Rest in Peace Patsy,

Carol Hickman Haynes
