Kathleen Mary Terhune (Carpenter)

A memorial service was held for Kathleen Mary Carpenter Terhune, 58, at the Point Church of Christ, Point, Texas, on Nov. 20, 2006, after she passed away at her home.

She was born Aug. 28, 1948, in Kansas City Mo., to Carl Edward and Geraldine Thompson Terhune, and was a member of the Norman High class of 1966. She married Marvin Wayne Carpenter in Norman on Feb. 20, 1982.

She was a caregiver in child care service most of her life. She loved children.

Survivors include her husband; children Mary Jill Carpenter of Athens, Texas, Wayne Carpenter Jr. and his wife Heather of McAlester and Kevin Carpenter; mother Gerry Terhune of Edmond; brothers Steve Terhune of Norman and Edward Terhune of Huntsville; sister Sandi Goin of Edmond; and grandchildren Ashton, T.J., and Constance.

She was preceded in death by one son, Bryan Carl, and her father.
