Judy Hubbard (Liscano)

Judy Hubbard

Judy Ann Hubbard Liscano, 73, passed away Monday, April 25, 2022, after a sudden illness.

Judy was born August 21, 1948, in Chickasha, Okla., to Floyd and Margaret Hubbard. The family moved to Norman, Oklahoma shortly after.

Judy attended University School (she was a proud "Uni" kid) and went on to graduate from Norman High School in 1966. She moved to California for a short time, where her daughter was born, but returned to Norman, the town nearest and dearest to her heart, where she lived until 2016.

Judy spent the majority of her work life in food service and restaurant management, but spent the last 15+ years nurturing children and families alike with a home child care business. Judy never met a child she didn't bond with. She treated the children in her care like her own family, and countless parents still remember and appreciate the loving home she provided for their children.

Family will always remember her as "Cool Aunt Judy", the queen of Oklahoma & Norman history, all matters of trivia, singer of every line of every song, and the family historian. She was a hard worker, selfless, cheerful, and full of laughter.

Judy moved to Northern California in 2016 to live near her daughter and family in the "little cottage in the woods". She is survived by her daughter Jennifer Hall and husband Shawn, granddaughter Louisa, and countless beloved cousins, nieces and nephews. Judy was preceded in death by her parents; sisters Jean Miller, Johnnye Jenner, Jeri Wine, Janna DeMarta; and the love of her life, husband Jim Smithson.
