Carol Ann Sellers, born Carol Ann Carson, passed away unexpectedly on April 23, 2025, in Mountain Home, Arkansas. She was born on January 3, 1948, in Watonga, Okla., to Art and Roberta Carson.

Carol graduated from Norman High School in 1966 and went on to attend the University of Oklahoma.

On August 31, 1968, she married the love of her life, Hugh Allen Sellers Jr. Together, they built a beautiful life and shared nearly 60 years of love, laughter, and devotion.

Carol and Hugh raised two children, Jake and Kasey, and later welcomed two grandchildren, Alex and Maya, who lovingly called her “Mamaw.” She took great joy in being part of their everyday lives.

A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, Carol lived her life with selflessness and grace. She and Hugh shared a love of travel and visited many beautiful locations—from tropical beaches to mountain retreats—always side by side. Their bond was one of true friendship.

Carol had a gift for making others feel seen and cared for. She poured her heart into those she loved and made a lasting impact on everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. Her warmth, kindness, laughter, and unwavering support will be deeply missed.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Art and Roberta Carson. She is survived by her beloved husband, Hugh Allen Sellers Jr.; her son, Jake Sellers (Lisa); her daughter, Kasey Estep (née Sellers); and her cherished grandchildren, Alex and Maya Estep. She also leaves behind her sister, Barbara Gordon; nephews Jeff Lee (Kathey) and Jon Harrison (Linda); nieces Hillary Young (Jamie), Lisa Stichler, and Cheri Clark; and many other cherished family members and dear friends.

A Celebration of Life gathering will be held at a later date. Details will be shared with family and friends.
