Lee Lindsey, a member of the Norman High class of 1966, passed away on June 29 at Integris Baptist from a very short battle with lung cancer.

Lee was born the youngest of four in Norman on October 23, 1948, to Virginia M. (Crabbe) and Louis Calvin (L.C.) Lindsay, Jr.

He lived in Norman his whole life until he married Deborah (Debi) Gwen Donwerth (McElyea) on June 27, 1998. They resided in Mustang, then moved to Yukon.

Lee was preceded in death by his parents, L.C. and Virginia Lindsay; his sisters, Virginia Lindsay-Hunter and Patricia Knox; and his wife of 13 years, Debi Lindsay.

He is survived by his daughter, Sky Ann Lindsay; his granddaughter, Lynze Rhea Mason of Norman; his step-son and step-daughter-in-law, Eric and Meredith Novak of Sapulpa; his brother and sister-in-law, Louis and Margaret Lindsay of Illinois; his brother-in-law, William (Bill) Knox of Kansas; and multiple nieces and nephews.
