Cheryl Iverson Conyers

Cheryl Iverson Conyers, a member of the Norman High School class of 1966, passed away in 1987 at Oklahoma City Presbyterian Hospital.

She was born March 27, 1948, in Northfield, Minn., the daughter of Lloyd and Dorothy Iverson. In 1971, she married Howard Conyers in Norman.

Surviving was a son, Andrew Conyers; a daughter, Kimberly Conyers, both of Seminole; and a brother, David Iverson, of Tampa, Fla. She was the daughter in law in Glee Conyers of Greencastle, Indiana.

Besides working as a school teacher in Greencastle, she also taught in Wewoka and Moore, Okla.

She earned a bachelor of science degree in speech pathology in 1970 and a master's degree in special education in 1975 from the University of Oklahoma. She was a member of St. Mark's Episcopal Church in Seminole.
